Introduction
Our dear witches, and sometimes mages too, enjoy wearing green beryl jewellery, and some may have a crystal in their personal collection. In many sources on minerals, you may come across the statement that green-coloured beryl (not to be confused with chrysoberyl) is known by the trade name “emerald”.
As a reminder: blue beryl is aquamarine, yellow beryl is heliodor, and so on. Given the high price of the stone, each shade has its own trade name.
What Gives Beryl Its Colour
The shade we see in the light is imparted to beryl by impurities of metal atoms in its crystal lattice: iron, nickel, vanadium, manganese, or chromium.
Beryl’s apple-green shade is usually imparted by chromium and vanadium impurities (most commonly), but there is a nuance that is hardly ever mentioned — and overlooking it can easily lead you to buy ordinary green beryl rather than emerald.

Если разница между фильтром Челси и Жадеитовым фильтром?
Да, есть. Они оба несут различную функцию и не имеют одинаковый фильтр, не смотря на то, что оба с виду оптика черного цвета.
